By the side of a snowy road, a weak and exhausted dog lay on the frozen ground. Its body was thin, its fur dirty, and its eyes showed sadness and pain. Cars passed by, one after another, but the dog did not move.

The cold surrounded the road, and the dog barely lifted its head. It was tired, hungry, and alone.
One car slowed down as it passed. After a short moment, it stopped. An elderly woman stepped out carefully, closing the door behind her. She looked at the dog and immediately understood how serious the situation was.
She approached slowly, speaking softly, not wanting to scare it. The dog did not run. It stayed still, trusting her.
The woman gently lifted the dog into her arms. Step by step, she carried it toward her car. She opened the door and carefully placed the dog inside, wrapping it in warmth and safety.
Inside the car, the dog rested on the seat. Its body relaxed, and its eyes looked calmer. For the first time in a long while, it was no longer alone.
The road remained cold behind them, but the dog was safe now.
